    PPC Glossary

    Pay Per Click: Paid online advertisement on the search engine that you only pay for when a consumer click on it. For more info, click here

    Cost Per Click: The price for every click on your featured ads. For more info, click here

    Click Through Rate: The amount of people that have clicked on the ad divided by the total number of times that the ad appeared on the search results (impressions). Fore more info, click here

    Impressions: The single appearance of an advertisement on a web page. Each time an advertisement loads onto a user's screen, the ad server may count that loading as one impression. Fore more info, click here

    Google Adwords: An online advertising platform by Google that allows businesses to create and manage advertisements on the search engine. For more info, click here

    Return on Investment: The ratio of money gained or lost (whether realised or unrealised) on an investment relative to the amount of money invested. For more info, click here

    Conversions: The ratio of visitors who convert casual content views or website visits into desired actions based on subtle or direct requests from marketers, advertisers, and content creators. For more info, click here
